Today we will be updating all software on server #1, #2 and #3. The maintenance will not take longer than 30 minutes on each server and there should be no downtime at all.
Server 1 will be replaced with a new server this Sunday, the new server is one the most powerful Dell servers available. The server is a QuadCore Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3460 @ 2.80GHz with 4GB RAM.
We will start moving all files to the new server from 16:00 on Sunday the 28th of March.
IP address 85.17.87.165 will be replaced with IP address 91.213.214.150
IP address 85.17.87.183 will be replaced with IP address 91.213.214.151
We will transfer all data, the only things our users on server 5 have to keep in mind:
- Resellers using private nameservers have to replace the IP addresses of the nameservers as found above.
- Users using our IP adresses in their DNS in any way will have to replace IP address as found above.
- Users using our nameservers (ns1.versio.nl and ns2.versio.nl) do not have to do anything.
- Once the move has been completed, our users should use http://91.213.214.150:2222/ to log in to DirectAdmin.
- Once the move has been completed, our users should use 91.213.214.150 as the FTP host to access FTP.
Problems on server 1
We are currently experiencing some problems on server 1. The problems should be solved within a couple of minutes.
EDIT @ Wednesday 15 April @ 19:20: It seems there is a large problem at the Leaseweb data center. Many of the servers in the data center are currently offline. The suspected downtime now is 30 minutes.
EDIT @ Wednesday 15 April @ 19:27: Server 1 is back online and running smoothly.
The maintenance of last night on server 1 has been successfully completed. The server is at full speed again and all websites are running excellent. There were a few problems today with the firewall, as it was blocking some of our users. This has been solved as well.
This means all problems on server 1 are solved! Once again, thank you for your understanding.
There will be maintenance on server 1 in the night/morning of Monday 30 march from 02:00 to 05:00 CET. After the update of last week, the server is still not running smoothly, this maintenance should be putting an end to that. Your websites will be running as fast as they did before.
It is possible your websites will be down during this maintenance, but the downtime will be limited to only a couple of minutes. Thank you for your understanding.
